Researchers / Some fat molecules in the body increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases

Health Desk: Excess fat in the body is harmful to health. This fat mixes with blood to cause inflammation in the blood vessels. This inflammation increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases. This is contrary to a research published in the medical journal ‘Nature Immunology’. According to research, some fat molecules cause inflammation in the veins.

The research conducted by the University of Saarland, Germany, observed the fat level and health of the volunteers involved.

According to research co-author Timo Speer, the molecules called triglycerides in the body’s fat affect the body’s immune system. High triglycerides reduce blood flow by compressing the blood vessels. This increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases.

According to this research, people with fat molecules called triglycerides have a higher risk of death than others.

Research has found that triggers are higher in people who eat a high fat diet.
